About Seamons Educational Products

Betty Seamons graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and 2 minor degrees, one in English and the other in Special Education. Then she went on to teach the 4th grade at Beacon Heights in Salt Lake City. After successfully teaching her own 5 children and getting them prepared to lead successful lives, Betty became desirous to help other people’s children and formed a business with 2 of her daughters.
Both of her daughters have attended Utah State University and Janice majored in Family Life and Human Development with an emphasis on Family Studies, and Susan majored in Early Children Education. Both Janice and Susan have been working along side Betty in developing the first level of educational materials which are now available.
These Preschool Materials were developed over a 5 year period of time while teaching Preschool children. They are now being successfully taught each year to enable the children to successfully pass their Kindergarten entrance exams and be at the top of their class.
Now Seamons Educational Products, LLC is offering complete packets of student’s lessons and a teacher’s manual, to go along with the student’s lessons. The teacher’s manual includes lesson plans and instructions with suggestions on how to successfully teach this material.
The teacher’s manual also includes 4 alphabet stories per month that have been written by Susan Seamons, so that they contain many words that begin with the letter of the alphabet that the children are studying about that week.
These stories could also help many other people with literacy problems because Susan felt it was important to expand the children’s vocabulary. The teacher’s manual also includes 4 colored booklets and 4 colored puppets that have been illustrated by Janice and Betty Seamons which accompany the 4 alphabet stories. Craft sticks are also included to make it easy for the well prepared teacher who has little time to be able to show the children how their puppet should look without a lot of extra work for the teacher. Knowing how limited a good teacher’s time is, made both Janice and Betty both anxious to make their product as easy as possible.
