The Appaloosa has a proud heritage of being a well-rounded horse willing to do any task that they are set to do.
The Appaloosa is truly an American horse who did not reach its present abilities and temperament until the Neemeepoo or Nez Perce Native Americans refined the breed. The Appaloosa is also well known for their ability to be endurance horses. They have great stamina and yet make great pets and family horses.
